The under 11 raiders came home the winners of the league cup, with a 4-3 win. The raiders controled the game throughout the first half. West exe worked hard to stop us but it was not long before a Louis Adey's shoot rebound of there keeper, so Luke Spiller finished it of. All are midfield worked well together , linking up to get as many chances. A corner sent by Ben goodier, flew towards Thomas Moore boot and in it went. Jed, Thomas Burhop and Jimmy kept control in defence, stopping any attemps by west exe.
Second half and west exe came out fighting. Putting pressure on goalie Oran Bramble. A determined Louis was finally rewarded a goal, when he sent the ball flying over west exe goalie head. now 3-0
A free kick by west exe saw them score. straight after then they broke throw are defence to make it two.
Time was running out and defender Thomas Burhop, sent a flying ball from midfield over the goalie's head and in. west exe made one more goalie in the dieing seconds ending it a 4-3 win.

The raiders got a shock in there first game of the season, with one goalie and one defener away, west exe took full advantage of this.
West exe scored first from a free corner kick, the raiders returned with are only goal from louis adey which was passed from ben goodier's left. then west exe showed more strenght by scoreing four more goals before half time.
The raiders were not without chances, louis deternation left him disappointed when the ball kept skimming the post.
second half and the raiders determation shone throw when the first 20 minutes west exe could not get throw to score. the raiders had so many near misses and it was two even teams, but ten minutes to end the raiders started to struggle, West exe took advantage and scored four more goals.

A big improvement this week, we where missing three in defence but we gave it are all.
Two even teams from the start, but thomas moore up his game, weaved around Feniton, send the ball to louis adey, to shoot and george lowe taped in are first goal. Louis scored the second, by taking on feniton defence. Feniton broke throw are defence to score one before half time.
Second half and max peacock did some great saves in goal, keeping Feniton at bay. Louis adey scored are third when we linked up thomas moore, luke spiller and james plant. Feniton determation to score, push pass josh allen and thomas burhop in defence to score there second. Minutes to end and feniton squeezed in a final goal, ending the game 3-3 draw
Well done to louis, luke and max for trying so hard in goal and for the rest of the team, some staying on the pitch for the full 60 minutes.

1ST OCT SIDMOUTH RAIDERS 9 BRIXINGTON BLUES 3

One storming game for the raiders. The ball was passed around the pitch and we where taken by surprise with a early brixington goal. Thomas Moore returned it with a goal within a minute, taking on brixington defence. Strong passes and communcation made the raiders have the upper hand. Ben Goodier scored the second, when Louis sent the ball from the left wing. Brixington tried hard to pass but with Thomas Burhop and Jed in defence and Ben in midfield, they found it hard to pass the halfway mark. Thomas Moore scored the next two goals before half time, one from a free corner and the over was a dribble around brixington defence.
Second half and Max linked up from the left wing, to Louis Adey to score are 5th goal. Brixington's determination to stop us over the next 10 minutes, saw the ball yo-yo up and down the pitch, Marcin and Luke where working well up the wings, giving every chance possible to are strikers to score. 15 minute left of play and the raiders slowed down, brixington took advantage of this and scored two goals. This is all it took for the raiders to re-awake. From kick off Thomas Moore single handed made his 4th goal. Then Louis made it his second by a free corner sent by Thomas Burhop. There was no stopping the raiders, linking up some great passes and giving Thomas Moore his 5th goal. The icing on the cake was when Luke spiller passed to Thomas Moore to make his double hatrick, minutes to the end.

8TH OCT SIDMOUTH RAIDERS 7 PINHOE SPARTANS 3

Team work gave the raiders a win of 7-3. Pinhoe scored first within minutes. The raiders returned it with hard work and strong passes. Thomas Moore scored his first with a free corner header, straight into the back of the net. It was not long before Ben sent the ball from the left, for Luke to volly the ball in. Thomas Moore made it his second with another header, from a free corner kick. Pinhoe had chances but are defence kept united at all times. A foul on luke spiller saw him take a penalty, just before half time. shoot straight into the back of the net. 4-1 half time.
Second half and Max and Luke worked well in the wings, Louis and Ben linked up to Thomas Moore to scored his hatrick. Pinhoe returned this with some determination. got throw are defence to score there second. We came back with a Thomas Moore's 4th goal, taking on all of pinhoe defence. The ball kept yo-yo back and throw and pinhoe was rewarded with there 3rd goal. We ended the game with a final goal , when Luke came up the wing, to send the ball post and in, giving him his birthday hatrick

A early morning set off for the raiders, as they went to play Dalwish early. The raiders didn't take long to control the game. For the first 15 minutes the ball was passed around the pitch without any goal's. Thomas Moore & Max kept moving forward, with Marcin and Luke in the wings. Ben stayed strong in midfield and defenders Jimmy& Thomas Burhop kept the ball up pitch. The raiders saw there first chance when Max broke throw Dalwish defence, sent to Thomas Moore to screech the ball into the net.
Luke Spiller determination in the wings gave him the second goal, When he received the ball in midfield from Thomas Moore, made his way up the wing, Dalwish defender came to stop him. Luke chipped the ball over the defenders head and carried on up the wing to send the ball into the net.
Second half and Dalwish fought back, with a few near misses. Keeper Oran in goal and defenders Jed & Josh busy. But Dalwish where unlucky and faulted to score. Are final goal of the game came from new boy Max Peacock. When a free corner was sent to his waiting foot to score his first for the raiders. GO MAX.

12TH NOV SIDMOUTH RAIDERS 4 WEST HILL WASPS 1

Sidmouth headed over to Ottery St Mary, to play Westhill in are first cup game, of the season. We started the game strong and it was not long before we scored, when Louis's shot, bounced of westhill goalie hand, to make are first. Westhill fault back, there goalie did some great saves and they defended well. Westhill saw a chance to score, when are defenders were found to forward, giving them a clear run. The raiders kept on playing strong but struggled to score any more before halftime.
Second half and a determined team came out. Good linking up from thomas moore, ben and luke, gave ben a free corner, he sent it toward goal, it rebounded of the goalie, so he tried again , straight into the right corner of the net. Defenders Jed, Jimmy and Josh carried on stopping any attempt for westhill pushing forward. Wingers Max and Luke kept linking up with thomas moore and Ben in midfield. This soon gave Louis his chance to score are third goal. We finish the game with one more goal. When Thomas moore shot from the wings to let Cian send it into the net. everyone played amazingly and gave it there all. well done team.

This game could easily been the other way around. In the first ten minutes St Martins were on control of the game, but goalie Oran Bramble brilliant saves stop ant attempts. The raiders united and played some wonderful football. Luke Spiller scored the first goal, when captain Thomas Moore sent the ball from midfield. The second goal came before half time when James flying ball meet Louis Adey's head to score. Defenders Ben jimmy and thomas Burhop controlled the game from the back, sending the ball upfront everytime St Martins moved forward. At half time we were 2-0 up
Second half and Luke Spiller saw a chance to score, it redounded of the post, to give George Lowe a clear shot into the net. GO GEORGE. The whole of the raiders team played well. passing between themselve to contol the game. showing great skill and team spirit. The fourth goal was made by Louis, when he came from the left, shoot and post & in. St Martins never gave up trying, but are defence were determined to keep them at bay. Cian scored are firth goal when a corner kick curved towards the goal for him to send it in. Not long left and captain Thomas Moore was rewarded with are final goal, from another corner.

WHAT A GREAT GAME WE HAD. WINNING IN THE FINAL FEW MINUTES WITH A GOAL SCORED BY CAIN WARREN'S CHEST.

The raiders headed to Exeter to play West exe Rangers, determined to improve on the bad lose at the begging of the season. From the start we had the ball on the attack, giving West exe's defences & goalie plenty to do. West exe kept three on defence and this stopped all of are attempts to score. 20 minutes in and west exe was rewarded a penalty, they shot, for oran bramble to save, it rebound to give them a second chance to score there first goal. The boy's kept there heads high and united, keeping the score 1-0 by half time.
Second half and west exe passed the ball with confidance giving them a second goal. The raiders returned this with a new confidence. Thomas Burhop came out of defence to take a corner, which was returned to him and gave him the chance to swing in are first goal. It was not long before a gathering near goal saw Ben Goodier's hard work pay of with are second goal. Time was passing and i would be happy with a draw, but minutes before full time a flying ball from Max peacock, hit Cian Warrens chest to make a well deserving win of 2-3

The raiders made it there 9th consecutive win, when they took on Feniton at home. The raiders were on the attack from the begining. Max, Louis and ben worked well, linking up plenty of chances to score but Feniton's determination kept us at bay. It was not long before Louis broke throw and scored are first, straight into the right corner of net. The raiders had more attempt to score in the first half but kept hitting or skimming the post. Feniton were not without chances, but Jed, Jimmy and Thomas's strong defending and orans saves stop Feniton in there tracks.
Second half and Feniton came out with more confidance, They tried hard to stop us but it was not long before Louis shot hit post and Luke finished it off. Max and George linked up, giving Max a clear shot to score are 3rd goal. Thoughout this half Feniton never gave up and was rewarded with a goal. Max made are fouth goal when he single handed weaved around Feniton defence to score, post and in. Time was running out, a few more attempt to score was seen from both sides, finally we got one last goal when cian sent the ball to Louis, he shot for it to skim the goalies hand and in

One nail biting cup game, that saw us go into extra time to win 5-4.
The raiders took central city by surprise by a early goal from Louis Adey. Thomas Moore passed to Louis from the midfield, then Louis sprinted up, weaving around Central defence, to score the first. Central were determined not to lose and showed more speed and skill, to get the ball toward the net. Central then kept three in defence and it stoped us in are tracks. Twenty minutes in and Central broke thought are defence to score there first. This was shortly rewarded with a second goal for Central, from a corner kick.
Second half and the raiders came out the stronger side. Good linking up from Thomas Moore ,Luke Spiller and Louis Adey, saw the ball head towards the goal. Max Peacock received it and roll kicked it between Central goalie's legs. GOAL. Now at 2-2 Central came back with their third goal post and in. Then are turn to make the next goal, when Louis volley it over the goalie's head. Ten minutes to go and the ball moved up and down the pitch. Central's forward sprinted up the left to score there fourth. The raiders determination not to give up saw the ball in attack position. Finally a free corner sent from Thomas Burhop,

A sticky pitch saw the raiders win 3-2 at home against dawlish. This game should have been a easy win. The ball spent 90% of the time in the attack positon, but the raiders kept skimming the post. Dawlish where first to score, when they broke throw are defence. Strong passing from Thomas Moore, luke and Louis in midfield gave Moore are first goal, Thomas weaved around Dawlish's defence to send the ball screeching into the net.
Second half and the raiders picked up speed, doing some great linking up pitch, giving us more chance to score. Thomas Moore took on dawlish defence again but they sent the ball the wrong way, into there own net. The raiders sliped up when dawlish came up the right wing and swinged in a second goal.
Now at 2-2 time was running out. The raiders kept the ball in attack and it was not long before a free corner ,sent from ben meet Thomas Moore head, to score are winning goal

The raiders were in half team mood in the first half of the game and cully took full advantage of this with there first goal. The raiders struggled to gain speed but Luke scored are first , when he linked up with thomas Moore in midfield and luke sent the ball into the corner of the net. Cully then returned with there second goal, when the raiders sliped up in defence. Cully were more determined to win and missed a lot of chances in the first half, Thanks to Orans goalie skills. Ben scored are second when his powerful kick from midfield flew into the net. Minutes to half time and cully made it there 3rd goal.
Second half and the raiders turned the tables and came out the stronger side. A corner sent from Ben meet Thomas Moore head to score are 3rd. Louis made the 4th when good linking up from moore, luke and ben saw Louis in shooting position. shot right corner net. The raiders were on a role and a corner was sent out to midfield, where Thomas Burhop was waiting , one strong kick and it flew into the net. Now
5-3 and cully struggled to keep us away from near the net, this resulted in a home goal, when louis shoot hit a cullys defence and in. We had more chances to score but Luke was playing crossbar challage every time. Minutes to go and cully broke throw are defence to end the game 6-4

The raiders are on their way to the semi finals after a nervous game against Heavitree.
There was only one goal scored, so every parent was on tender hocks. Martin was pacing the side line
throughout the 60 minutes. Both sides were determined to win and this saw the ball yo-yo up and down the pitch. The raiders were on the attack more in the first half and many chances were missed to score. Heavitree had a strong defence and was like a brick wall to get throw. Finally a corner sent by
Ben Goodier, meet Louis Adey's foot, he shoot for it to reflect of heavitree's defence. Thomas Moore was waiting and power shoot it into the net. Heavitree were not without chances but Oran Bramble was determined to keep a clean sheet today, he did some great saves from all angles. Good linking up by
Ben and Thomas in midfield kept sending the ball towards the net but every time heavitree's defence kept strong and stop Luke Spiller and Louis Adey from scoring. Heavitree found it hard to get pass are defence, Jimmy, Josh and Thomas Burhop kept clearing the line, stopping all there attempts to make it a draw. Finally the whistle was blown and everyone cheered both teams of the pitch. Well done to the raiders and heavitree for such a impressive game.

The raiders deserved to win this game. A very physical game which was hampered by strong winds and a very hard ball. It saw the raiders unlucky near goal. The raiders kept the ball in the attack most of the first half but the wind and pinhoe's goalie was all that stopped us scoring. Any attempt by pinhoe were soon stopped by good defending by thomas, jed and jimmy. Five minutes to half time and pinhoe broke throw are defence to score the first goal. Not long after, a gavering near goal, saw pinhoe's defender hand ball, giving us a penalty. Captain thomas moore came up and sent the ball flying into the net.
Second half and the raiders were playing a impressive game. Thomas and ben controlled the midfield , with louis and luke sprinting up the wings, Max played upfront and was left frustated when pinhoe's goalie stopped all his attempts to score. Louis Adey's hard work finally paid off, when thomas crossed to this left, so louis could sent the ball into the net. PInhoe always kept on the pressure and josh and jed worked hard to keep them away from the net. time was running out and the raiders were looking at a win, but a minute to go and a corner from pinhoe saw them score. ending the game 2-2 draw
